Saratoga Springs is so gorgeous this time and year and Yaddo gardens if one of our favorite spots! The kids got together and surprised Grandma for Christmas with a custom family portrait session. What a great Christmas present! Debbie does not seem old enough to be a Grandma but what an amazing one she is! The kids love her and John and we had so much fun playing together at Yaddo Gardens in Saratoga Springs, NY. We had to stop the party several times to feed, burp, and put the baby to sleep. Everyone was so relaxed and patient. The non-baby grandkids were such troopers! Dan played “photography equipment reflector turned frisbee” (one of my favorite games) with them while they waited. We had the most perfect soft clouds and sunshine without it being too hot or muggy! Enjoy this sneak peek to hold you over until we roll out the red carpet for your premiere night! Can’t wait for you to see the rest!
We are working on a personal project that is close to our heart. It is a project that brings passion, life stages, love, memories, and the celebration of women together!

If you don’t fit this criteria but know someone that does…please share!! To apply please send an image of yourself with your contact info to firstname.lastname@example.org

I was so excited when Shawn contacted me about giving the gift of a family portrait experience to his wife for their anniversary! This beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY family had my heart from the minute they stepped out of their van! The kids were polite and fun and even helpful! They listened and they played and they took care of each other. I was so impressed by the attitudes and politeness of the older two but of course this gorgeous 2 year old stole the show!
Look at this incredible styling job Emily did? Don’t they look perfect!?! I adored their outfits! I kept telling Dan how excited I was to see them in the clothes she had picked because she’d done such an amazing job! We walked around Saratoga Spa State Park, watched the resident wood chucks and squirrels, twirled, danced, and laughed! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to create and capture memories of this family here in Saratoga Springs, NY. What a treat it was to help them freeze this moment in time so they will never forget the way the youngest smiles with her tongue out, the way the middle child loves to twirl, or the way the oldest looks at his father with great admiration!
Shawn is incredibly talented as well as a great Dad! Be sure to check out Shawn’s award winning homes here!
We did a mini Mommy and Me session with our favorite accessories. We spent a rainy day in Saratoga Springs, NY just playing, taking “pictures” with our binoculars, and wearing all the necessary adornments! There might have been a few burps and toots and hilarious laughter then ensued as well. But only maybe. I was put to the test juggling, camera, lighting, and a little blue bouncy ball with rough edges flying at me! (only the ball was flying at me, not the camera or lighting). My smile hurt when we were done!
I met Virginia scrolling through Instagram. I was immediately drawn to her feed…clean and beautiful! I had to look at her website. The same. I wandered to her blog, Razimus Jewelry. (We’ll call it my small adventure for the day). It was of course also gorgeous and with incredible content. I loved it! When I got the idea for this Mother’s Day Giveaway I knew immediately that I wanted her to be a part of it. Not only was she amazing to work with, she’s beautiful and then there’s her daughter!
Thank you so much little one for reminding me what it means to be a little princess! And thank you Virginia for being an amazing woman, mom, and business owner!
