I met Chelsea through working with Jon Mabb from Primal Movements. I had heard his name over and over as one of the best personal trainers in the area so of course I had to find out what it was all about! You will be hearing more about Jon and what he does in the coming weeks so stayed tuned!
Chelsea wanted to do a custom photography session that really showed her love for Lake George, the Adirondacks, and the area in Upstate New York that we lived in. She has been working with Jon and training for a competition. She wanted to showcase her love of hiking and the outdoors as well as the strength she has gained and worked so hard for.
She wasn’t concerned about the time of year and the cold. She is a strong and vibrant woman. I had so much fun photographing her. We chose the Pinnacle for it’s gorgeous view and fairly easy access. I wish I could say the hike didn’t kill me. It’s only a mile! But it is a bit steep. As I’m just coming out of my adrenal fatigue, for almost two years now, I sure have a lot of getting in shape to do! (Jon, here I come!) Chelsea never once complained or commented or worried about waiting for me.
When I suggested a sunrise hike she was all in! From phone calls to texts and while hiking or working out Chelsea radiates kindness and positivity in her life.
Chelsea warned me as we started shooting, “I laugh a lot!” She said! I adore this picture of her and I think it shows the essence of the woman that she is! Chelsea, you are a joy and I can’t wait for our session at the gym to show all that you work so hard for health and happiness!
We stayed about 20 minutes enjoying a 270-degree view of Lake George, the Narrows, Tongue Mountain range and many other islands, mountains and smaller lakes.
It’s so beautiful isn’t it!!
After five years of negotiations, the Pinnacle was able to be protected thanks to a partnership between LGLC, the Town of Bolton, and the FUND for Lake George, which provided major financial support for its acquisition.
